Rainy start

... for this trip was 52 1/2 miles walked. Not bad.

Dinner tonight was back at the Village for a steak grinder and some fruit. We carried it back and ate in our room. We are ready to go home tomorrow!

This vacation closes another chapter in our book of travels. Thanks for following us along to Maine!

Great Day in Ogunquit

Today the day started with just clouds, no rain in site. Had breakfast again at the Inn and hit the walking trail early. We decided to just let our feet direct the way. We walked towards Ogunquit Beach and noticed some side roads, so we kept following different roads as we kept the ocean in our view.

... And, followed that with fried clams for me and Rich had the grilled swordfish . When we left this was a line forming to get in for dinner.

As we walked back, we spotted this nice sign. And, then this window of a home with watermelons displayed. There was no chance of rain and the sky was a pretty one this evening.

After dinner, we decided to walk around. It was people to people on the sidewalks. We passed by a nice shop with these flowers growing outside.

Time to call it a day. And, what a day it was. Thanks to Rich for making my special birthday even more special.

... lived a long time as some were in their 90's and two 100's. However it was different with the more recent graves where a number were in their 60's. plus there was a couple of family headstones with birth date but no death date on so I figured that they have just bagged their plot in advance.
