      Barbie has just packed away her pearls, the push-up bra is being left behind as well as looser Ken. Those 4 inch heels have been replaced with her L.L. Bean hiking shoes.       ... the border of Quebec and Maine at Coburn on highway 27. We knew we were going to have to stop the car at the border and we had no idea whether we would be able to get the car to get going again.

      There was an automated gate arm at the Canadian border. When we came to a stop, we were on an uphill, and when the arm raised and we were supposed to proceed through, our car stayed EXACTLY in the same spot...the clutch wouldn't work! We watched in horror as the divider ...

      ... pond . . No Ciclismo Classico this year so we are taking our own bikes . . . So . .. They are all packed away! We have begun to pack our suitcases . .
