    ... lunch. Bata explained that we could all get a half litre of beer and a ton of food for 9KM, which is only $7CDN making it a great deal. We drank local beer and ate traditional local food - a delicious dip, meat, salad, and grilled zucchini. Bata also told us we would get dessert at some point in the day and though some people mentioned this at the end of the meal, we were all pretty full and could do without dessert anyway.

    ... through it and not even noticed, a border crossing booth appeared. We pulled out our 5 Aussie and 1 New Zealand passport and were quickly waved through. We started to pull past the second window when a hand stuck out and waved frantically and made a stop symbol. Oh, we had just "left" Croatia.
