The title refers, of course, to the fact that Dubrovnik is the location for King's Landing, the capital of Westeros, home of House Lannister in Game of Thrones. Not that I am obsessed or anything, although I did buy a few coasters branded with the different Houses! The old town within its medieval walls still charms, the streets gleaming under lanterns at night and the terracotta roofs shining in the sun. I walked the walls again, strenuous but worth ...

They followed the process of paying a local to train them from a nearby 10m platform, there they are instructed on jumping and landing techniques until they are ready to make the real jump. The train journey has been described as one of the top 10 train journeys and it was easy to see why, on a step gradient we descended out of the hills around Sarajevo, following the river valley through huge karst country, skirting sheer cliffs, lakes and verdant farmland. I didn't get many photos due to the limited number of opening windows that were obviously in high demand, but that ...

... us down through Montenegro, Albania and finish in Corfu, Greece. Unfortunately they cancelled that on us so we decided to do it ourselves. Our first stop as I mentioned at the end of the Croatia adventures was Mostar. MOSTAR, BOSNIA We caught one of the "local international" buses which took us from Split across to Mostar in about 4 hours. The scenery along the way was stunning as usual, but we knew it was going to be amazing from our last time in Bosnia. There were ...

... the van down the hill to jump start the car, we couldn't help but laugh our heads off! Back on the mountain road with the sun shining and bundled in our warmest clothes, we couldn't help to say out loud "this is the life".

The tour took us into the old city of Montenegro, Cetinje, and we were taken to a monastery and told stories of the famous Petrovich leader. Next on the agenda we were taken to what is known as the 2nd most holy place in all of Europe, ...
