... is a hidden attraction, the absinth distillery. We spent a weird evening here, listening to an American guy sing, playing with kittens, and trying the different types of absinth (green, red, black, gold). The challenge is clambering down the ridiculous stairs (ladder!) at the end of the night, without falling - apparently know one has fallen yet, but when you see the picture you might find that hard to believe. We have driven south east from Reykjavik around ...

... Jack. We arrive at the airport - did we mention that we don't actually know where we're headed from there? The plan is to book a ticket to the most interesting - sounding destination. We feel like we're in a movie - when was the last time anyone has bought a plane ticket at the airport an hour before the flight? 2 planes, lots of hunger and major exhaustion later we find ourselves sleepwalking at Chiang Mai ...

... Milkshakes for adults are followed by a nightly snorkeling trip (lest we actually dry completely for a change) to see the Plankton. Picture this: a clear night sky lit up by millions of stars above us; below in the water we are surrounded by what seems to be their reflection but really is sparkles that react to every gentle touch. A truly magical night. Too soon we have to leave the water as the next thunderstorm approaches and our beds beckon. Good night from ...
