Just four weeks to go and I just want to be settled on board with the real world, and Christmas , left behind. I still need to order money and am checking the exchange rates daily its still going up so hang on. If it starts to go down then I buy before it looses any more. The money is delivered to the ship so don't have to carry it. The exchange rate is pretty good also. Found ...
Getting Ready a Week to go!

What did we learn? The heating is super efficient, the cassette lasts a day and a half when that's all you are using and the electric hookup means you can live just like at home.
Next week - Andover and the hawk conservancy. I'm hoping to have a day flying a bird of prey - want to fly a buzzard or a kite or a peregrine falcon. Don't want to fly an owl - they don't do it for me like a howk or falcon.

We learned out lesson last week and de-frosted our casserole early, microwaved it and then finished off in the oven.
I have ordered a mattress topper - firm beds are ok, but a gal needs some luxury and softness to help her have a long sleep.
So all in all, a good day - f1 qualifying and strictly come dancing - a mindless but restful day.

Back to reality with a bump!
... to pretend I was still on the sunny shores of Australia; and nearly everything I did reminded me of some good time in Oz – I think I drove my friends and family mad by saying ‘ah, this reminds of…’, sorry people!!
There are many things I miss about travelling, mostly about Australia – being able to buy thongs (flip flops to the UK people!) out of a vending machine, long open roads to cruise ...
