... for reinforcements to lay proper claim to the area the English snuck in and claimed it for themselves....it retains a French feel though, with street names and areas showing a Gallic influence. We had a really nice day out with lots of - exploring of places we hadn't visited before and Diana helped me with my new camera (F stops, exposure, AV, TV – I'm slowly getting there thanks to her help!)

... as we had found a place in the shade on a bend with a lamppost to lean on! We were soon joined by a delightful brother and sister couple who gave us useful things to do in the area and at one point Graham allowed me to rest my feet while he stood and chatted to Rod.
