... We had a 4 hour drive ahead of us. Along the way we saw some giant windmills, cattails lined the roads. We crossed into the US at the Blue Water Bridge - I was terrified driving across it - I hate driving on bridges- white knuckles all the way. It took about a half hour at the customs place because of traffic. But looking over the bridge at Lake Huron was gorgeous.

... about suing people. Meanwhile the adults were doing laundry and there was an earthquake-just a couple hours away from us! We didn't feel it, but this is not normal for Michigan. We stopped by a Coney Island called John's- very good, and possibly a little to much of a good thing. There was so much food. Good choice Bailey's! All too soon it was time to figure out how to re-pack the car and say our goodbyes :( Again, we left just a little later than planned ...

... store! Next up, we stopped by the River Place Shops. Jonathan bought a Star Wars book at the used bookstore and pulled it out at every opportunity. Caitlyn got a Petoskey Stone which is a stone that allows you to see fossils and sea shells in it when it's wet.

We had lunch at La Crepe du Jour- which claimed to be "a taste of Paris in Little Bavaria". Caleb said it wasn't like Paris, there was too much space between the tables. ...

... Silent Night" in over 300 languages. Jim found an interesting fact about the reason "Silent Night" was performed with guitar for its first performance. The organ was in need of repair so it wasn't playable hence the guitar. He said if he had known he would have fixed the organ in time for the performance!

We head for Petoskey, MI Sunday. This stop should really be a step up for our stay. So stay tuned for the latest!
