... I spotted the first of half a dozen!
Back to Ivalo – indeed there wasn’t that much to the town, other than it had nice ice cream but we all felt that it was unfair to label the town as the dullest place etc etc, it was ordinary it’s true but there again, most places are.
Then it was press on the last 20 miles to Inari and the hotel Kultahovi. We stopped for fuel in Inari and had a brief chat to 4 Harley Davidson bikers, 2 couples, who told ...
... On our way back, within seconds the sky cleared and we stopped in a parking area hoping for northern lights. We brought out our tripods and cameras and took a few test shots just in case. After about 30 minutes out in the cold we gave up. We were back in our warm hotel room by 2:30am and went right to bed.
Today we may rent a car and try to make it to the Inari Native Film Festival . . . and look for those elusive northern lights again.

... Mr Henri is a terrific guy! Thanks to him, we were able to book activities at exclusive deals and prices! Also, we had pick ups from our cottage's door step to the activity spots for all activities!
The Cottage was just 2.5km away from the town center so we could easily walk back and forth for our groceries purchases.

... to fall off! It was the clearest day we'd had so far, and definately the coldest.
After we'd eaten, we rugged up warm and went for a big walk. We didn't last very long, maybe half an hour, before we had to turn back because despite all our layers we were freezing! We had a sauna to warm up, and started the fire again.
We spend the rest of the afternoon lounging around. John finished his book, we finished the marshmallows, and had a nap until ...
