    Fishing and Luau

... that right now so that kinda sucks because it's everywhere on this island. Also, it's only takeout, there's no eating area. I wouldn't go back unless I wanted to try ahi poke. We drove to see the Spouting Horn which was just alright, nothing special and ate our takeout. The takeout was disappointing. So the luau, it's set outdoor on the beach so that was really special for us because I have always wanted a beach luau. There wasn't a live pig ceremony but the food was so ...

... They have a bring your own bottle drinks but a shortage of glasses and we no longer will need these.

April 12th Saturday. Oatmeal for breakfast. I did laundry while Phil walked to our beach for a swim. Again the day started out sunny and by the time I was ready to go for a walk it was windy, overcast and cool. We did try to sunbath a bit, but too cold and windy. Showers and walked next door to the Oasis for a happy hour drink. Then ...

For myself, I was pretty freaked out. Prior to this experience, I had only surfed over reef on a hand-full of occasions. I had heard and read ten times more stories of guys getting cut up or injured on the reef then I had ever actually been out on it. The proportion of people who actually get seriously injured is low, but it freaks me out nonetheless. I caught a few ...
