... all the time and both Denise & l couldn't get over the amount of people it involves. They had streets marked off and parks designated for support crew etc. Arrived at Pearl Harbour and begun our tour, which was enormous, as it is still an active Naval base. First port of call was submarine Bowfin which was very scary in the sense how these sailors could live in such confined quarters. Apparently Bowfin did 9 missions ...

... in and we were booked into a semi shared room. So we have our own bedroom but share a kitchen and bathroom. When we entered the first door it was straight into the kitchen but that was also the other bedroom and there was a poor unsuspecting lad trying to get some shut eye. We went through to the proper bedroom with a TV and air conditioning. I felt a bit bad because it was like a sauna in the other room but at the same time - I'm unwell so shouldn't pity others too much! Aloha! Ero Tergum ...

Saturday we started out our day with a 2.3 mile hike, which was pretty much straight up, and straight down. We also saw the lookout to Rabbit Island. We were done just in time to go to Sealife Aquarium. Except for the wholfin (whale/dolphin cross) I probably wouldn't recommend this excursion.
