They are all over us! ... literely! they finally leave and we can now sit and enjoy the company of our host as she explains about all the wines on the list. All the wines are from small growers who have desided to make small batches of wine that you can't taste anywhere other than at this spot. We get to choose 5 for $15 bucks.... lets get tasting!
... though, because we tried doing that and those grapes were absolutely sour - I guess that’s why they are ‘wine grapes’. Still, try not the destroy the ‘clusters’ (ie, a bunch of grapes) because it takes 7 clusters to make a bottle of wine – so tasting those grapes would only mean less good grapes left for good wine.

We then drove on to Sonoma to meet up with Colleen, Matilda, Alice and Ruby.
We met up in a park in the middle of town and got some sandwiches from the shop across the road for lunch. Then the kids spent some time playing together in the playground, before we left Sonoma to go to the pumpkin patch to get some Halloween pumpkins.
