Bit bumpy through some clouds but we are touched down and now at the hotel. A short walk throughout the airport. Met by Stephan who is lovely. Showed us to our rooms. A lovely welcome bag on my bed of t-shirt, chocolates, wine etc. Steph gave us our itineraries and a brief on our plans and advice on access to wifi, food, luggage, etc etc. had a bit of a look at the shops on the way to dinner. We began our journey yesterday (Friday) in Hartford. We left the house around 1:15 (just so you get an idea of total travel time) for our 3:25 flight to Atlanta. Given our combined luck with air travel, we were dubious about our flights. We made it to Atlanta with only slight delay and still had time to grab a bite to eat before the dreaded 15 hour flight.
