A bargain room
... the best beach in Belize. Easier said than done though as we were pretty much in the middle of nowhere with the main road being a couple of miles away and no taxis in sight. Little Fishing Village - Cozy and Laid Back
... It was a little gamey but nicely stewed, only down side was the smashed up bone fragments that occasional clashed with my teeth. I’m happy to conclude that Gibnut is a tasty little rodent, probably wouldn’t be the first thing I’d order if available (more to do with the stigma & constant thought of what your eating, then the taste) but I’m happy I participated in consuming a local delicacy and my stomach hasn’t rejected it yet.
