Glendo and wake-boarding

-woke up at 11:00 today
-drove to glendo state park
-got to wake board on one of the nicest lakes for water skiing and wake boarding in the U.S thats in the park.
- also caught some catfish on the beautiful Glenod lake
-spent 32 dollars in gas for 136miles
-staying in my VW at another dirty truck stop ...

... is short, fully poured concrete and joined together by some wooden steps. The whole length can be covered in about ten minutes and the walk is accompanied by the constant huffing, puffing and complaining of fellow visitors not happy about the amount of stairs.

Given all that it was still kind of cool seeing the monument and it put a nice little bow on the South ...

... His exquisitely rebuilt and modified Buick 2-door is a great looking bit of kit. Frank did all the work himself, including the painting.

... out to be a big thunderstorm with lots of cloud to ground lighting bolts and it was quite something to watch. The winds had all the flags out straight with poles bending from the wind. It brought about a great sunset after storming for over an hour. (Mt. Rushmore was hit with golf ball sized hail the other night)!! Glad we missed that!
