We had a leisurely start this morning and then headed out to McMinnville to have breakfast with friends Lou and Darle from our old Sears days. Nice breakfast and then a walk through the renovised downtown area of McMinnville. Very cute and "friendly" atmosphere. As we walked by the McMenamin Hotel we couldn't resist going in. We proceeded to the roof top bar and had an absolutely wonderful afternoon of reminiscing and discussing our worlds. Great day!

... locals and visitors alike. 6. Portland is one of America's 'greenest' cities, and the town is proud of it. 7. Portland should be called the City of Bridges. The roads are amazing and the urban planning is great. The downtown area has a new lease on life having converted the old industrial area into an urban mecca...Pearl Town. 8. Within a couple of hours, you can ski at Mt Hood, fish the rivers for Salmon and visit tome pretty amazing beaches. Yes, Portland was pretty ...
