    ... lawn area to the 2 streets that a lot of Amish travel. We grilled out and after a short rest after dinner we left for our walk and what a surprise...they were having a Bluegrass picking by the front office of locals.  There were 11 men and 1 woman, 3 mandolins, 1 bass, 2 banjos and the rest guitars.  We sat there for at least 30-45 minutes until it turned cool and we didn't have our jackets so we headed back to the motorhome.  While we were listening to ...

    ... We saw a bunch of Amish people in Tennessee and Luke kept calling the men "gnomes". So he was super happy. We walked through the barn area and they even had some pretty peacocks.     ... hurricane Irene. Was hoping to duck down to catch the O's and Yankees game, but at this point, I'm doubting it will be played Saturday night.

    I did get to see my old high school friend Hylon Plumb, who lives nearby in Lancaster - we went out to a smoky local bar for a beer and a burger. Was good to catch up with him, as I know it will be good to catch up with people in York, for however long I get to stay before Irene chases me westward!
