    I finally did it!!! Took the Brewery tour.

    We left Arata early due to warnings about construction delays on route 299. We had to be in Chico before 4 for the brewery tour at Sierra Nevada.

    The route we took (299) was a great road for the bike, but the construction delays were a bit of a downer. I liked several of the small towns we rode through, especially Weaverville.

    We made it to Chico by 1:30 and checked into the hotel to get ready for the tour.

    ... in sports. As if he wasn’t going to be able to hit the ball. We did down play ourselves because we didn’t want to let the team down if we had done something stupid haha. The game plays on and I’m up for batting straight after Aaron. The pitcher pitches pretty badly and I miss the first and second pitch. I hit the third but it’s a foul so I’m out.     thank GOD I didn't settle for the first RV site I found on the Internet for Oroville. I pulled into a place and it was a mobile home park with a few dumpy RV sites sprinkled in.     ... stuff" Lori wanted of mine. We'll head out on Sunday...Lori to Portland and Linda and me to Grants Pass.

    It was fun to wake up to a field, right next to us, full of horses, riders and horse trailers. I must admit that it put my cats' litter box to shame though, lol. But we saw some really beautiful horses.

    ... the boys watched a softball game that was going on there. They also had a dog park, which is always appreciated so our dogs can get a chance to run around. The next day we headed downtown to another playground and also found a fun water fountain for the kids to play in just down the road.
