... or two stopping at all the lookouts on the trail and visited the lighthouse and listened to the whales making noise. Very beautiful and serial! From Ucluelet to Tofino there are many beaches along the 40km highway and I stopped at all of them to check them out. Long beach was huge and quite secluded. There is a tourist centre on the beach with an amazing free museum to see with exhibits displaying the natives way of life here and talking about ocean life etc. A park pass ...

Our house is about a ten minute drive from Tofino and i took the Chrysler into town for shopping this morning. Secretly envious of the Dodge and GMC trucks which would work well going up and down to Glynn Hendra but less well commuting into Plymouth.

... to reach the ferry by 12 and time was ticking by. The only option was to run into a store and ask for directions. The guy settled us by saying we were only a short way from where we wanted to be. The race was on. After rolling up to the toll for the ferry at 12.30 we were late and were all set to be told we had missed it. Our worries were quickly put to rest when the lady at the booth told us the ferry was running late. We had made ...
