    The power cut ended at 7am, which meant no fresh bread or milk this morning. However we did manage a day without Mrs C Fogg visiting us. That meant a day on the beach, and stepping round jellyfish to paddle in the sea.

    Our house is about a ten minute drive from Tofino and i took the Chrysler into town for shopping this morning. Secretly envious of the Dodge and GMC trucks which would work well going up and down to Glynn Hendra but less well commuting into Plymouth.

    ... pants and sweatshirts, but soon the layers were coming off. The it was bathing suits. Too cold for me to go past my knees, but James went right in, and the boys were pretty close. The beach is full of driftwood that people use to build little shelters. The boys enjoyed this and each had his own design in mind. Had to peel them away to go for lunch and to check out Tofino.
