... or two stopping at all the lookouts on the trail and visited the lighthouse and listened to the whales making noise. Very beautiful and serial! From Ucluelet to Tofino there are many beaches along the 40km highway and I stopped at all of them to check them out. Long beach was huge and quite secluded. Then it was back to enjoy a well earned early night (at least for me). We had a lovely meal overlooking the ocean and then by 9 pm we were both fast asleep.

The power cut ended at 7am, which meant no fresh bread or milk this morning. However we did manage a day without Mrs C Fogg visiting us. That meant a day on the beach, and stepping round jellyfish to paddle in the sea.
Our house is about a ten minute drive from Tofino and i took the Chrysler into town for shopping this morning. Secretly envious of the Dodge and GMC trucks which would work well going up and down to Glynn Hendra but less well commuting into Plymouth.
