Howdy from Fisherman's Bay on Lopez Island in the beautiful San Juan Islands of Washington. We've been hanging out in the islands for several weeks visiting friends, testing out systems, installing last minute goodies and fixing broken stuff.

Time for a Photoshoot! – We took pictures for our brochure, cards and presentation, and we will take one more round at the next meeting on February 19. The team will need to bring uniforms for next meeting as well, both formal and casual.
... when we got to the park the information said that the whales had been seen heading north at 1:30pm. It was now 2:30pm, so we were hoping that they would head back down. We walked over to the lighthouse to check it out and the information there said that passed on past data the best time to see the whales in that area was between 3-4pm. elegant room about the size of Palm Court and seated at a table overlooking a
terrace used in summer, and manicured grounds and the harbor out ...
... whales would break into small pods to go hunting they seem to be in different areas sounding the boat. Next thing you know you'd hear: "Whale at 2 O'Clock" and there goes the crowd running.
After all that we headed back to Friday Harbor for a two hour layover before the ship headed back to Seattle. This allowed us to grab a bite to eat and do a brief bit of sightseeing.
