Yesterday we arrived, visiting former coworkers with us in Wuhan. It was a bright, sunny travel day all the way. It took us about eight hours to get there (after missing a turn), and a time change (Eastern Time is one hour later). We had a little scare on the way, running over a a tire shred, but no apparent effect to our driving. ...

Right after we passed mile marker 90 on I-65, heading south (to mile marker 0), traffice came to a dead stop. For the next hour, we crept bumper to bumper, for about 60 miles. ... into my day. I stopped for lunch in a town called Loogootee and ate left over pizza from yesterday and then hit the road again. From there I had to climb rolling hills surrounded by forests for about 20 miles. Then it was an easy flat ride into Bedford. My legs were a little sore today for yesterday's 150 mile ride but not too bad. I could ...

Eastern West Virginia is mountainous so it took 3 hours to go 100 miles, It was all switchbacks and 30 mph. Lots of greenery and logging sites.
It was overcast and rainy most of the day. It seemed to pour (windshield wipers on high) at least once an hour.
I cheated and took route 32 across southern Ohio because 50 arched north.
I had skyline chili for lunch and dinner. It was really good and a ...
