... canyons of Utah with many cliffs and alcoves. The awesome thing was that I did find a nice large alcove-cave to camp for the night. Right as I found it, the rain began to come down heavily. Perfect timing. With the heavy rains, waterfalls formed as water began pouring down the cliffs and now even the stream is flowing in this canyon. Tomorrow I will walk the 2.5 miles to Agua Dulce for ...

Here is what I've been up to this past week:

Monday the 30th: We got up early and our parents picked us up to set off to show them the deliciousness of Randy's Donuts. ... a table with a group of eight folks who have driven to Pasadena from Anderson, SC. My mother lives about 30 minutes from Anderson - how weird! After breakfast we have a mile to walk back to our seats, but first a pit stop. The porta potties we stop at are locked. You need to show your seating ticket to the attendant to use one. (Public porta potties were about 1/2 block away). These organizers really have their act together. As we walk to our grandstand seats, we see ...

... on (and her on our lap strapped in) she had a complete meltdown tantrum as she didn't want to do it and screamed and wriggled and fought with grant and I for that whole 15-20 mins. I think the whole plane must've thought she was the worst kid ever! She eventually calmed and was all hot and sweaty poor thing. To be honest grant and I were pretty calm and actually laughed a little as it was just unreal! Our luggage came out probably ...
