We decided to take a drive to Santa Monica as the sun was setting since it was less than hour from Hollywood. We took a walk a long the pier and watched the sun set. There were so many people! Santa Monica pier is the western end of Route 66 - that's an adventure for another time!

We had an authentic American dinner at Johnny Rocket's diner before heading back to our hotel in Hollywood.

On the agenda today was the obligatory trip to Universal Studios, and we couldn't have asked for a better day.
