We just did a quick overnight stop at the Holiday Inn Express in DuBois, Pennsylvania.
I spent most of the day driving and had to make a stop far enough west to be able to get to the next stop in a reasonable amount of time. This was a good stop and the hotel was nice enough.

... at 6000 ft at Mike and Diane's in Montana! We are at an RV park tonight. This is another good choice close to the Interstate yet it feels very remote you can't even here any road noise. It has been raining all day so things are pretty soggy here but also very green a good change after leaving Iowa, Illinois and Indiana which were so dry and brown. Clearfield was very hilly. My longest trip...more than 5 hours of driving through Pennsylvania. Beautiful country, but I was bushed. Took a picture of my Woodstock earring. After a very long morning of packing we finally got on the road and the car looks like its a space shuttle ready to blast off. We crossed into New York and then onto Pennsylvania. On Route 80 we passed the highest point east of the Mississippi. We saw beautiful farm lands and Bre wanted to stop and see if anyone had any teacup pigs...so we kept going. We stopped for a delightful dinner in DuBois with our cousins Robin and David. A perfect jump start to our adventure! ...
