We made it. This place is pretty cool. We only did about a third of what's here and we will have to come back. This gorge has been created over hundreds of years of erosion and is really worth the time. Need to plan for a full to 3/4 day to take all this in.

We are about 500 miles into the trip and are now camping just south of Watkins Glen in Corning, New York. Yes, Corning is the home of Corning glass. The centrepoint of the weekend for the Center was the presentation by Scotsman Murray Smith about his exploits in racing over the years. We had the pleasure of dining with Murray at one of the old motels where the Grand Prix drivers used to stay. This was the Glen Motor Inn, overlooking the lake.
