... Hotel located on W 55th St, walked to TKTS and purchased tickets to Lady Day at the Emerson Bar. It started raining hard(about 2"). We darted into the Palms Restaurant for diner soaking wet. Then on to The Circle In The Square theater. Audra McDonald certainly deserved the Tony for her performance depicting Billie Holiday. Pretty depressing to watch a drunk jazz singer self destruct but well worth the experience. Rain stopped and we made it back to our hotel by 10 PM.
