We spent 10 days in Boise visiting our son, Michael and his dogs, Samantha and Obie.
The three of us enjoyed spending family time, catching up on all the news and visiting several restaurants in the area. Michael cooked a wonderful salmon dinner for my birthday on August 22nd and we all ate on the back patio under misters which was refreshing in the heat of summer!

... Just as I am going to suggest that we call someone and inquire the phone rings and I direct the driver to where we are. It is now almost 1:00 p.m. and half the day is gone already. He gets the clip attached to the post and gives Heidi the go ahead to give the car a start. First time the dash lights up but there are no sounds. The second time the car starts without a problem. When the big day in February rolled around (331 days before our return) I called Delta’s special Around The world department. Four hours later we had a plan!!! First glitch, all the frequent flyer tickets going anywhere in June from Boise, Idaho were history! After much searching we found two seats to Rome from JFK on July 6,2014 and we grabbed them.
