A travel blog entry by spunkandatrunk on Sep 19, 2015

Well, whatever you want to call it we are packed and ready for our Ireland / UK trip! Its hard to believe with all the beautiful weather we’ve had this week here in West Michigan that we are packing jumpers (sweaters) and wellies (boots) for our vacation. All our warm clobber (clothes) are packed in our rucksacks (backpacks) including our macs (rain jackets), trousers (pants), jim-jams (pajamas), knickers (underpants), and ...

... driver. We were able to get a reasonable rate using a member discount rate at Enterprise Rental Car through my employer. Renting a car was a big task but we plan to drive the Ring of Kerry, neighboring Beara Ring, and then to Kinsale / Cork so this option allows us to set our own schedule.

To travel between the two islands you can take a ferry or you can fly. In my research on several travel forums the locals suggest that ...
