Today we had a great ride on the new bike trail in Dunnellon with our friends Trish and Steve. It's a total of 5 miles through the forest. So beautiful. The Florida beauty many tourist don't get to see. After, we all met Lynn and Larry at Swampy's on the Rainbow River for lunch.

Our Nature Coast Landings Vacation Home

Our first stop on our trip is Nature Coast Landings RV Resort in Crystal River. Many of our friends from when we lived here have not yet left for the summer so we are having fun visiting with them. Rocky got his hair cut for the summer. We didn't realize how big his ears were! Looking forward to our stay here at our old home.

We ate lunch at the picnic area overlooking the spring while watching ...

I was able to touch the mom, and pet her. She even rolled over on her back like you would expect from a dog so I could rub her belly. The mother had algae growing on her back. If you have ever felt an elephant, that is what a manatee feels like, not smooth and slick like a dolphin. ...
