After getting some sleep from getting up to see, what turned out to be nonnorthern lights, we were back on the road again. We ended up in a little community of Lakeville ID. It is amazing how green everything is here. The locals told us that is has been raining for the last month and only sunny long enough for them to get the lawn mowed again... and sure enough the next morning as we woke up is was raining. camping ground, I discovered after we paid there is no laundry so
we'll have to head somewhere else asap as it's piling up. I try and
make sure laundry is done whenever we're at a campground as that's
usually every 3-5 days. Last time I was washing and drying sheets and
things that got wet in a window leak so I didn't manage to catch up ...
... home, but it seems we've taken just about everything else.
Tom hit the hay on time. I finally crawled in bed at 2:30 a.m., which is typical for me on the night before vacation. Ah well...relaxation and rest is just around the corner!
... manufacturers. In downtown Elkhart over the weekend they were having the 28th annual Elkhart Jazz Festival sponsored by Forrest River RV's. We were fortunate to be able to see a little of this event. There were many well known artists appearing at various times. On Saturday local high school jazz bands were invited to play on the state. They were quite good. This event is known internationally and drew a very large audience.
Staying at Eby's campground and RV park. Expensive, no cable, no internet, unkept site but the campgrounds are park like. Lots of grass, trees and a pond and River. Staying two nights. Hated to leave our friends and beautiful farm campsite in KY this morning. Arrived here late afternoon to cold weather. Plan to check out the Entegra plant tomorrow. No we cannot buy a new RV!!
