    ... a sweetheart! Next night we also went out again but knew there couldn't be anything there as I was going travelling. Chelsea arrived the next day into Nanaimo we had to drop hunter off but the BMW broke down so mum had to drive it island and pick us up and the we dropped hunter off! From there we got home and went out for some drinks downtown and some how managed to make friends and stay at their place that night! Had a lovely breakfast downtown with Chelsea the next morning and ...

    ... back in credit in the satisfaction stakes, we walked back over to the harbour (the taxis had stopped for the night), across the Blue Bridge (a very imposing industrial bridge painted very blue, hence the name), which delivered us straight into the arms of The Swan pub, which was playing live music and is a brewpub!     We towed the dinghy behind the boat as we often do in settled water. As I mentioned the "settled water" that was forecast (and we foolishly expected) was water but definitely not settled. The dinghy survived just fine as did a single member of the pair of freshly painted oars. Somewhere someone is about to find a single oar painted Seattle gray with royal blue accents.
