He's shaking up my mojito and says'"I hate when this happens" he couldn't remember if he added the rum so I ended up with a double, which is a bit too much for me. The meal was excellent. Glenn had the halibut with pea risotto and I had seafood linguine. We finished off the night with a glass of wine at the Empress ...

As a Marriott Silver Elite member we were also eligible for 80,000 points or $200US for the inconvenience - points were a way better deal and they gave us 120,000 - which worked out to 3 nights at at a $400 p.n. hotel.

It was too far ahead for me to have been able to get a good picture, so it'll just have to remain as a mental note. I skipped a canyon lookout on my way to Lake Louise, so I stopped in on my way back through. Mistaya Canyon was just as deep as the others I'd come across, but not as long. From there ...
