We realised that we are half way through this great adventure. Well within a day or so. The cold has taken possession of Jan, it's raining and it's cold. We are in a great house with Sally and Chris who mean "make yourself at home", old hippies know how to share. Sadly we left Monpazier, a beautiful place. We packed up, breakfasted, hit the market, visited the local history place about Monpazier, which was finally open. Monpazier was a walled city with a moat. Built by Richard I and the town remains an icon of civil design.

Left the Manor house after saying farewells to Mike & Linda. It was a great few days & a nice place to stay. Set off for a 2 hour drive south to Sarlat. Stopped off along the way to see a few buildings built into a cliff. Impressive. Drove on to Sarlat. Nice old village with very old buildings.
