Dan maneuvered through tight, congested streets and I thought our chance of walking in town was gone, Fortunately, I called the chamber office and was given directions to an empty lot where we could park. Trust me, I am sure there is so much more to see than we have, but this trip is ...

    ... as such.

Exhausted and overheated we headed back to the campground for our .50c showers. Last moment we decided to go ahead and drive into town (in our pjs) to try to catch the fireworks. We waited till right before they started, found a place with a good view, double parked and watched from the van. As soon as the finale was over, we hightailed it out of there without ever having to fight the crowds or traffic. All in all, a really good day. ...
