... with 3 Golden Retrievers in it. There were 3 adults and 1 child in an RV smaller than ours. We don’t know how they manage, but they seem to do fine. They were on their way home to Illinois from Nova Scotia. They gave us some advice and a list of campground recommendations, which will be a big help. They also said that the roads in Nova Scotia aren’t too great for RVs, so we may be in for a few challenges.

We drove back to the campground and took a walk and talked to some nice people from Maine who gave us some good advice for driving through northern Maine on our return from Nova Scotia.

... warm and pleasant. We were seated at a table by the window. The waitress came as soon as we sat down, serving us water and talking with us. There were a few dining rooms, all tastefully decorated, had a little country flavor but very elegant. Table cloth and napkins were all cloth, with different prints as opposed to be starchy white. ... the kind of slabs of big rocks by the ocean in Bar Harbor. This place was even better and there was nobody there!! It would be an ideal spot to watch sunset! Unfortunately we probably won't get to watch sunset there this time, with the boat ride today and dinner at 8:15 tonight; and tomorrow dinner on North Haven. Sigh .... I was thinking of going there tomorrow morning at sunrise - even though it's the spot to watch sunset, perhaps the sunrise light would shed ...
... of town in a rural-ish area. It's peaceful, homely and the wood fire was in full swing for us when we arrived back after our long day.
