... s emergency room across the road! The nurse said in 7 years of drawing blood she'd never seen anything like it! She rushed to a shop and bought me an orange juice and muesli bar. Luckily I started feeling better almost straight away. Lesson: sight of blood + low blood sugar because I was hungry is not a good combination!

We have had a wonderful time in Hurley and it is a little bitter sweet as we pack up to leave. It has been wonderful to be close to family for some more visits--including a great Thanksgiving dinner. We have enjoyed our time with new friends and the time on the farm too. What a treat is has been to live here for a moment, learning some of Kevin's family history and making new memories in this special place. ...
