Up around 8:00 to a cooked breakfast of home fries and eggs thanks to Lynn and it was delicious! Lynn had to go to a Physio's appointment so while Linda mowed the lawns I took Daisy for a walk. Another perfect day in Minneapolis - top of 27 degrees. We happened to turn on the TV to see the events of the Malaysian Airlines crash unfolding. ... socks and sneakers instead of shorts and sandals! My feet were at least comfortable though- and there's nothing worse than sore feet when you have to walk lots of places! I enjoyed my time at Minnehaha Park. The waterfall there is awesome! Fast moving and quite intense! I also met some nice guys at the bicycle rental place there and they got me some water and we chatted for at least an hour! ... Snapple and trail mix. He's a top bloke.Upon arrival in Cleveland, it seemed that we would be staying in a rough part of town. There were several derelict buildings and a run down feel to the neighbourhood but despite how often the residents reminded us that we were 'in the hood' everyone we came across, bar none, was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
