... found out that you were Narrowboating, you were much less of a tourist and more a new acquaintance traveling in their area. The opportunity to interact with the local citizens was limitless. Since we missed our dog, we liked meeting the dogs the were out walking with their owners. Other boaters were at the locks and mooring sites.
