    If you saw my blog from yesterday, the picture showed some nasty clouds. Sheila and I walked to Cocomo's in Deltaville for dinner. It poured for about 10 minutes while we were in there, and then it was beautiful the rest of the night.

    We headed out of Deltaville this morning around 6:15. We sailed for about an hour with 10-12 knot winds, then the winds dropped to about 6-8 knots so ...

    ... Trail, a 1.6 mile walking loop trail. On our way to the trail, we saw 3 ponies grazing in a marshy field along the roadway. Hiking the Woodland Trail to the pony lookout, our expectations were high. As it turned out, the ponies along the road were closer than the ponies at the lookout. We saw them through binoculars, but they were in the shade of trees, as it was quite warm. Bummer.

    After 2,850 miles, through Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Ontario, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New Jersey, we returned to the Riverhouse.

    We had a great trip and are looking to do another soon.

    ... I hated that book; we’re on better terms now that I’ve passed the class.

    But St. Mary’s was different. Somehow that fear of error didn’t exist. The freshmen class brought it in with us, but the upperclassmen quickly killed it. The professors helped. They encouraged us, so much, to just try, question, mess up, and try again, until we discovered our brilliance. There were so many awkward, poorly phrased, bad ideas, ...
