... we proceeded along the Flume Path to Flume Gorge and past Avalanche Falls. We learned that Franconia Notch State Park was the home of the famous Old Man of the Mountain, aka "The Great Stone Face" which collapsed in 2003.
Folks back home most often ask what we miss most about land and the answer is always an easy one, THEM! During our two week visit back to New England we were able to meet up with some of our family and friends. The unfortunate thing is that we were not able to meet up with everyone we wanted to see. However, we were able to enjoy the time with the ones we did and will cherish them.

... afternoon we went for a drive to Hampton Beach, New Hampshire. Yes, I shot the whole beach scene. The waves were great. Walked the beach and loved not getting hot as you would in summer. I don't believe I have ever walked the beach in fall. Especially haven't in New Hampshire. I do have a friend who lived here, Dave and Lori. Yes, Lori!! Fall is fabulous in New Hampshire. You are so right.

And no trip to New York is complete without a visit to M'n'M World!We also went to see the Lion King on Broadway and it was breathtaking. I would recommend it to everyone of all ages! It took us a few days to get used to New York as it really is so busy, but by the end of it we were loving it.
