... literally in the seat behind me. Over it. From there we had just over an hour on our flight to Juneau, Alaska! Another bad flight, I sat between two bigger men (even though my seat was assigned near the window) and one of the men said "you might regret that" when I said "no thank you" for a complimentary drink. Hey man, you don't know me and if I am going to regret that. Annoyed.

The good weather continues to follow our journey. We were greeted by blue skies and white clouds and a wonderful guide named Cindy. She studied cinematic arts at Montana State and shared lots of information for using our cameras to get the best shots. We entered the Tongass National Forest on our walk to the Mendenhall Glacier. ... a little wildflower garden. Everything is so colorful and the lake sparkles in the sun. Just a delightful town.
Heading north after a couple of nights, we flew over Hell's Canyon, through the mountains to Arlington, Washington for a pit stop, then continued up the length of Vancouver Island. For once the weather was absolutely perfect with a clear blue sky. We could see every small community on the island, the logs being sent down the strait, fishing ...
