... packages (they start at $19 per person per day and that's just for soft drinks!!!) so we were a bit confused, but the bar man confirmed that we have somehow got a beer package, which includes any beer, wine, soft drinks and non alcoholic cocktails! We're still not quite sure why/how we've got this, but we're definitely not complaining (or telling anybody!!) So, to celebrate, we had a drink. ... salmon baking, but its really all about the jaw dropping scenery that parades endlessly across your window. There's not any real need to pay for a whale watching trip either, as the third day brings numerous humpback sightings, mostly close to shore, but some just a few hundred feet from the ship. ... progressive far the starter is sorted at Moderno (Seafood Chowder) and dessert is at La Bistro (Fondue). We may need to separate for the mains! Following the "how to avoid sea sickness" tip from @AuntyGail and Paul, our dinner tonight was accompanied by an enormous glass of champagne. Buoyed by the bubbles we headed for the Casino for a spin on the Dreamcatcher. True story: we were losing and had one last spin...and up popped the payer that got us out of trouble ...

... for the afternoon, as predicted, but the morning was glorious and we did not need a coat. Temp was around 17C.(Wind creates the chill factor.)We have been so blessed with the weather-all fine so far. It might start hazy, but clears.
Oh, lots of bald eagles, lots!Lots of whale spouts and some revealing their tails as they dive.Great stuff!
We have enjoyed the cruising side of the trip as well.Food and service have been great!
