Holland America cruisers there. I tell Noreen, “I bet they think
this food is good.” It's not. Hey provide a signer who works for

So very interesting, then the ultimate was just around the corner, and there it was, many miles away, a massive massive glacier such a wonderful sight to see nature at its best and a perfect day weather wise as well. ... open! Tricky to pick where they will come up but managed a couple of good shots! We then drove down to see Mendenhall Glacier from the visitor centre / platform – the Hoopers managed to see 3 bears in a nearby creek! The size of these glaciers is incredible with fresh 'icebergs' floating nearby! A bit wet today but a great experience anyhow! Back for a wander around Juneau starting with lunch in the Red Dog Saloon which was heaps of fun ...

... we all stood in the lake, which was exactly as cold as you would expect a glacier lake would be - freezing!! Nearly 5 hours after arriving it was time to walk the mile find a half back to the bus stop for the hour long ride back to town. ... small fish (6 inches) have a "bloom" or swarm, or something like that, and the whales get together to corral the fish doing bubble net feeding. The whales swim under a school of fish, emitting bubbles through their blow holes. The fish can't swim through the bubbles. The whales pull the circle tighter while one whale, the "caller" emits a tone below the center ...
