Rushmore, the Badlands, the Black Hills, Deadwood, Yellowstone, and the Grand Tetons. Now, I might not make it quite that far in the time I'm allotting myself, but I will make my best effort without going insane in the car for that many miles. I'm hoping that as a true introvert, ...

I met a couple of really nice people as we are sitting in the gate area. Moaning and sighing as we all realize our plight. One person was a sweet woman from South Africa. ... pack and hopping curbs just about every where we went, see earlier entry, the city was easy to navigate. We found the people very friendly and helpful. Just about everyone we met were still in disbelief we came there in the winter on vacation. Many take that glorious show in the sky for granted. I suppose it would be hard to stay up all night for viewing and still make work the next day. Huh. A drawback to living there? I think not!

      Final Thoughts on My Trip

... My neighbor was another guy from my program named Mike who went to UW Platteville. He wasn't around all that often though since he was with his girlfriend who lived in a different dorm with internet. Unfortunately, unlike American universities which seem to be in a constant state of upgrade, many German universities seem to simply wait until their facilities are falling to the ground to upgrade. As a result, our rooms had a radio and telephone hook ...
