... the barrels before they mentioned it, but that really sounds like a challenge... We are still looking for a sports bar but so far no luck. We stopped at "The Cookout" and Charles peeked in the window to see if they have tvs. Better be careful or we will be bailing him out for being a Peeping Tom. ... Lovely small town , very European in feel , lots of cafes and restaurants and spas for some reason . After a coffee we took advantage of one of these spas the Wake foot sanctuary where we both had a foot soak and massage , brilliant after our hikes and camping . My feet felt and smelled a whole lot better than they did before we went in , actually surprised I was allowed ...

I went for a run around town tonight. I'm preparing for a long-distance backpack trip and it seems best to be as active as possible in preparation. I'm also preparing to leave my home town for a long time and I need to be as close with it as I can before my journey starts. Running on the sidewalks, through downtown, through parking lots, around the colleges, in the neighborhoods, on the local trais. All the memories contained in several blocks. ...

This is a historic site. There was a Revolutionary War battle fought here and also a Civil War battle fought here. This plantation house was used in the movie "The Patriots" with Mel Gibson. This was the home his family lived in for the movie. I've been here before with my mom so some of you have probably already seen some of these ...

... haven't seen Aunt Bunky in about 5 years or Judy in about 10 years, but as soon as Aunt Bunky walked into the church I knew her, she looks so much like her mother (I thought) but then Judy said she looked like her father and yes she does, guess it's her hair that makes her look like grandma. Anyway, we had a very nice service then went out to lunch with everyone then over to Aunt Bunky's home for a short visit with her and Judy.
