Today was devoted to visiting family not seen in many, many years. My mother is the youngest of eight children. There are three left, my mom and her older sisters Bernice (Aunt Bunky in Spartanburg, SC) and Rubye (Aunt Rubye in Hutchinson, KS). So since we are just across the border from Spartanburg we went to visit with her today.

My cousin Judy Dunn Rhodes is also in Spartanburg along with her husband Rev. Steve Rhodes and their younest daughter Katie and family. ...

Yesterday involved a trip to Clinton and lunch with Brother Steve. We said our goodbyes and headed out to do some grocery shopping. We passed a church with a tractor parked out front with one of those giant circular hay bales on the front fork and a flatbed trailer decorated with greenery. I can only assume the deceased was a farmer and the tractor would take him to his final resting place. I ...
