... Buick 455 engine back together. I greatly enjoyed the time with you.

I head now down to Florida, stopping off on the way at Covington near Atlanta to meet Patrick and then on to Lake City in north Florida to meet Steve, both from the V8Buick Forum.

... Toboggan Chute on Valley Way at Strongsville and from 6pm - 10pm toboggan'd myself silly. There are two man-made concrete chutes side by side 700 feet (about 200 metres) long and 70 feet (+20 meters) high - best speed I managed lying flat on my back was 45 mph (70 kph). I had a GREAT time and the staff were excellent. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I also found out that there is a down-hill skiing facility at Alpine Valley on Mayfield Road (US322), Chester but did not get there.

... condition, but that it had the most desirable upgrade block in it - a 'blue' 455!! It seems in Buick land, that for the 455, the 1975 & 76 blocks were the most desirable and the 1970 through 74 heads were the most desirable (compression ratios dropped each year, so 1970 is the highest at 10.5:1 through to mine at 8.2:1).

I had a really good time, and more to come on Saturday.

Well, I arrived in C******, Ohio this evening after driving in snowy conditions for the last third of the way, which is a VERY interesting experience in itself!!
