No doubt our baptisms of fire and water yesterday were good for the soul, but so much more were our refreshing night's sleep and the events of today.
Not that last night was without its reportable event: Syvia's nocturnal wandering culminated in her locking herself into the bathroom, unable to get out. The old fashioned latch made an absolute din as she rattled it trying to escape. After a ...

Our hotel had its own customer laundry so we were able to luxuriate in our room in between cycles.

Load out didn't take any more than the typical two - three hour timeline that we are used to, so nothing really changed there. It was nice to go directly into another day off. Only three more shows with KISS, than two in Mexico as just us. This summer is going WAY too fast.

... could I pass on that. I was lucky enough to spend the day in good company and attended the birthday party of a rock star. (In pure Irish fashion, it was held at a local Irish pub.) It was not like I was just there as a person in the crowd, I was an invited guest and it felt like family. What an absolutely amazing group of people.

I can only hope to remain friends with them and go out again in the future.
