If you would like a time in Heaven...

from

... just spend your vacation time at the Inn Paradise B & B with Major and Connie. We loved our 8 days at Inn Paradise, we stayed in the King Kaumualii Suite and it was lovely. We certainly plan to return and spend more time with the two of them. Loved it!

The Perfect Location

from

We love our time on Kauai your location is perfect. From hearing the parrots say "Hello and Aloha" (they sound like Connie), to the very friendly cats who were quite persistent in seeking attention. Both boys enjoyed playing with the cats and back gammon.

We enjoyed seeing Opeakaa Falls, hiking the Kuilau Ridge Trial, followed by a dip in the "swimming pool" at the end of the road (Keahua Arboretum). We especially enjoyed our tour of the Hindu Monastery - very beautiful and relaxing. The boys were impressed with the playground at Lydgate Park, especially knowing Major & Connie had contributed their skills in the construction of it.

Our favorite restaurants locally were the ribs at Scotty's, fried calamari and wasabi crusted fish at Coconuts, the appetizer's at Duke's at Kalapaki Beach were good, especially after a day of boogie boarding and volleyball.

Most of all, we thank you Major and Connie for your spirit of aloha. Your graciousness makes Kauai a very special place.

Luscious surroundings

from

Luscious surroundings is how you describe Inn Paradise as you take the drive to the B&B and look over the back yard from the back porch. Very quiet and one can enjoy sounds of being in the jungle with all the birds.

Major and Connie's hospitality is outstanding from their aloha greeting, to their clean and comfortable accommodations, wonderful pets, continental breakfast upon arrival, private rooms and parking.

Plenty of items are available for you to make a decision on all the activites you would like to do, or not........just sit back and relax.

It was so nice to have our own place. No rush for getting out to a restaurant for breakfast. And, if you haven't been to Kauai there are some must sees.....wonders of the world. I used to live on Kauai, and went back to visit to view and hike the canyon and take a boat trip around the Na Pali coast. Also attended Smith's Tropical Luau. I highly recommend going to see the show.

There is no better place and people in Kauai

from

I wish to thank Major and Connie for the most hospitable time I have ever had (short of home with Mom on Christmas). The property is lovely, the proprietors are lovelier. This place is top of its class in comfort, ambience, and company.

There is even entertainment. Meet Major Inch, one of the most eccentric geniuses in the Pacific Ocean and beyond.

There is certainly class. Meet Connie Inch, one of the keenest and perceptive peple I have ever met.

Hope to see them both again.

Kauai is simply awesome! The Queen Kapule Suite Inn Paradise is simply the best equipped holiday apartment that I've seen! The best to Major & Connie, see you in Germany next time.

Simply the BEST ROOMS!

Aloha:

As a world traveler I have stayed at a variety of Hotels and B&B's over the last 30 years. What I truly enjoyed about my Inn Paradise visit was my Lovely host's; Major & Connie they are two of the sweetest people on this earth and will do everything to make your holiday as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. You feel as if you are staying at a friend's house. When you leave, you realize you have experienced just that, as they will become your friends for life. The location is ground zero for the Island and Major & Connie are most informative and knowledgeable. The Suites are perfectly appointed, extremely clean as well as comfortable, while being situated in a very relaxed and tranquility atmosphere. They may not be on the Beach, but they are only a few minutes away and at $70 to $95 a night a true bargain. The interaction with Major and Connie you will experience alone is worth your visit. Do visit them and give them a "Big Aloha Hug" for me! :)

We Felt like Royalty......

from

What a wonderful week we had here!! It was so relaxing despite all the things we did and saw. The best part about our vacation was the location, it was perfect, half way between everthing. It was always nice at the end of an exhausting day to say "Let's go home." We felt like we were royalty staying in the Prince Kuhio suite. I truly believe that our vacation would not have been as nice or more memorable if we would have stayed anywhere else! Your little Secret Oasis here has been delightful. We loved the Ice Machine, perfect for filling the coolers.

Paradise Found!

from

Thanks so very much for being such a gracious host. We've never stayed in a "Bed-n-Breakfast" before, but somehow I don't believe we will ever stay in one as unbelievably wonderful as yours! Your hospitality was greatfully welcomed. Ruby and I loved the immaculate yard (tropical garden), view of the mountains, and avians (birds) they were all wonderful. We truly enjoyed our anniversary on Kauai and you helped to make it special. We are sorry that we missed Connie but sure well meet her when we return (We couldn't possibly stay anywhere else now that we've experienced paradise!) When we retell our trip to Hawaii with friends, we'll certainly tell them not to miss the wonderful experience of staying at Inn Paradise. Mahalo & Aloha- May God bless your family & home.

... Polyensian music, and the friendly vibes extended to getting some of the crowd up for an impromptu hula dancing.

The highlight and number one rated activity to do on Kauai is to see the Na Pali coastline which is that bit I mentioned which isn't accessible by road. People book boat trips, helicopters trips or walk it. We chose that latter. This was by far the most physically demanding part of the whole trip as it is listed as a strenuous hike. ...

... a 10' cliff to dive off next to the waterfall. While they were swimming, the guides put out lunch for them: make your own sandwiches, potato chips and a cookie. After lunch they hiked back to the kayaks and paddled back out to the cow pasture. They picked some thimble berries and ate them. They got back in the vehicle and went back to the start where they changed into dry clothes.

Once they heard our Aussie accents we were family. Food delicious with great friendly service and locals wanting a chat. Five stars for quality, atmosphere and value. ... surfboard, paddled out to the woman, and then towed her back to shore.

After I'd been there about a half hour, I suddenly noticed that there was a seal laying on the beach. And I'm pretty sure it had been there the whole time, I just hadn't noticed it for some reason. Even though there were caution signs stuck in the sand around him, to make sure people didn't go too close. So of course I had to go see him. I don't think I've ever seen a seal on a ...

The temperature was a little cooler today, I actually needed my hoodie later in the afternoon. I guess that is Hawaii's version of *windchill factor* - haha!

Oh, and I did some more shopping today - I needed milk! Haha.
