If you would like a time in Heaven...
... just spend your vacation time at the Inn Paradise B & B with Major and Connie. We loved our 8 days at Inn Paradise, we stayed in the King Kaumualii Suite and it was lovely. We certainly plan to return and spend more time with the two of them. Loved it!

The Perfect Location
We love our time on Kauai your location is perfect. From hearing the parrots say "Hello and Aloha" (they sound like Connie), to the very friendly cats who were quite persistent in seeking attention. Both boys enjoyed playing with the cats and back gammon.
We enjoyed seeing Opeakaa Falls, hiking the Kuilau Ridge Trial, followed by a dip in the "swimming pool" at the end of the road (Keahua Arboretum). We especially enjoyed our tour of the Hindu Monastery - very beautiful and relaxing. The boys were impressed with the playground at Lydgate Park, especially knowing Major & Connie had contributed their skills in the construction of it.
Our favorite restaurants locally were the ribs at Scotty's, fried calamari and wasabi crusted fish at Coconuts, the appetizer's at Duke's at Kalapaki Beach were good, especially after a day of boogie boarding and volleyball.
Most of all, we thank you Major and Connie for your spirit of aloha. Your graciousness makes Kauai a very special place.
Luscious surroundings is how you describe Inn Paradise as you take the drive to the B&B and look over the back yard from the back porch. Very quiet and one can enjoy sounds of being in the jungle with all the birds.
Major and Connie's hospitality is outstanding from their aloha greeting, to their clean and comfortable accommodations, wonderful pets, continental breakfast upon arrival, private rooms and parking.
Plenty of items are available for you to make a decision on all the activites you would like to do, or not........just sit back and relax.
It was so nice to have our own place. No rush for getting out to a restaurant for breakfast. And, if you haven't been to Kauai there are some must sees.....wonders of the world. I used to live on Kauai, and went back to visit to view and hike the canyon and take a boat trip around the Na Pali coast. Also attended Smith's Tropical Luau. I highly recommend going to see the show.
There is no better place and people in Kauai
I wish to thank Major and Connie for the most hospitable time I have ever had (short of home with Mom on Christmas). The property is lovely, the proprietors are lovelier. This place is top of its class in comfort, ambience, and company.
There is even entertainment. Meet Major Inch, one of the most eccentric geniuses in the Pacific Ocean and beyond.
There is certainly class. Meet Connie Inch, one of the keenest and perceptive peple I have ever met.
Hope to see them both again.

Kauai is simply awesome! The Queen Kapule Suite Inn Paradise is simply the best equipped holiday apartment that I've seen! The best to Major & Connie, see you in Germany next time.
Simply the BEST ROOMS!
As a world traveler I have stayed at a variety of Hotels and B&B's over the last 30 years. What I truly enjoyed about my Inn Paradise visit was my Lovely host's; Major & Connie they are two of the sweetest people on this earth and will do everything to make your holiday as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. You feel as if you are staying at a friend's house. When you leave, you realize you have experienced just that, as they will become your friends for life. The location is ground zero for the Island and Major & Connie are most informative and knowledgeable. The Suites are perfectly appointed, extremely clean as well as comfortable, while being situated in a very relaxed and tranquility atmosphere. They may not be on the Beach, but they are only a few minutes away and at $70 to $95 a night a true bargain. The interaction with Major and Connie you will experience alone is worth your visit. Do visit them and give them a "Big Aloha Hug" for me! :)
We Felt like Royalty......
What a wonderful week we had here!! It was so relaxing despite all the things we did and saw. The best part about our vacation was the location, it was perfect, half way between everthing. It was always nice at the end of an exhausting day to say "Let's go home." We felt like we were royalty staying in the Prince Kuhio suite. I truly believe that our vacation would not have been as nice or more memorable if we would have stayed anywhere else! Your little Secret Oasis here has been delightful. We loved the Ice Machine, perfect for filling the coolers.

We truly enjoyed the experience!
Major Inch is a lovely person who made our stay terrific. The grounds are awesome and the Prince Suite was everything we needed and more!
Thanks so very much for being such a gracious host. We've never stayed in a "Bed-n-Breakfast" before, but somehow I don't believe we will ever stay in one as unbelievably wonderful as yours! Your hospitality was greatfully welcomed. Ruby and I loved the immaculate yard (tropical garden), view of the mountains, and avians (birds) they were all wonderful. We truly enjoyed our anniversary on Kauai and you helped to make it special. We are sorry that we missed Connie but sure well meet her when we return (We couldn't possibly stay anywhere else now that we've experienced paradise!) When we retell our trip to Hawaii with friends, we'll certainly tell them not to miss the wonderful experience of staying at Inn Paradise. Mahalo & Aloha- May God bless your family & home.

... most driving instructors would fail you for were needed….we were quickly all halted and told off like a bunch of school kids that are on a school trip, silenced and sorry for what we had done. So we continue (as good children) through jungle scenes and tropical forests, it then seemed to become rough muddy terrain up rocky paths and down steep hill faces until it opened out to a serene landscape and a mountain that looked as if it hunched over the island. ... After waiting weeks to get an answer, the answer was, NO!...Ok, I think about it and book the tour anyway. The sites that you were going to see and the time you were with the tour was really worth it.So, a few days before the tour I say to Toni and Dave, "Do you want me to see if you can still come on the Kauai tour?"....Dave..."No, I don't wanna see any stupid seahorses!".....Me..."Dave, wrong island, this isn't the seahorse tour."....Dave..."No!"Day before the tour, Wendy and I went on ...
... out some natural raspberries called thimble berries, and everyone picked some to eat. I tried one, but wasn't impressed.
After we got home, we had another late dinner. For appetizers we had fresh cut pineapple. We had bought one at the store, and the condo had this neat gadget that both cored and sliced the pineapple at the same time. It was delicious! And for our main course we had pizza casserole.
After dinner we watched a little more Doc Martin and then went to bed.
... data entries, so I feel like this was my initiation into working with them. The coordinator, Cali, later talked with me about working with her and doing more things with children out in the community this coming week. I am very excited to get out and help more with their crew. She also hinted that she had a ton of friends who need babysitters and if I wanted to make some extra money, her friends would love to have me. Bonus!!

... rain stopped and out came the sun, so we rushed back to the hotel to change into our swim gear and spent the afternoon lounging on the hotel beach. We couldn't swim though as there was a very slippery reef to overcome. The sunshine had lifted our spirits, but not for long because on Monday morning, the rain was back. So, we donned our rain coats and with our umbrellas and towels, swimwear and some snacks in a bag we crossed to CMP to catch the local bus to the North ...
