      ... we had had a fairly big lunch at Nepenthe. As for the Mustang Convertibles. Apparently it has been a long tradition to travel this road with the top down in a convertible. We saw all kinds of them. We spoke to a fellow who was driving one with a NY lisence plate and asked him if he had driven all the way but "NO"- he was from London, England and had picked it up in LA. Someone must have come from NY and dropped it in LA. The sights we saw today will stay with us ...

      ... should buy the drug before we leave just in case we get shingles around our eyes. Earlier today I suggested that if we have any money left at the end of the trip we should get dental implants for $398. The ads, they're everywhere! We think maybe we're stopping at Pismo Beach tomorrow but we're really not sure and the itinerary is in the car. No accommodation booked but hey, we've mastered driving today so we're going to fly by the seat of our pants ...

      ... it's bad or anything, I just feel like it was way too expensive to dive here. The price for rental and trip here was 140 dollars where in Hawaii, it was only 100 dollars and they did everything for me... I don't really have a choice, but I don't particularly like or dislike this dive shop. It's not that bad.

      ... Whoopee. We had to self-register and it was difficult to read where the hookup sites were located. Even then for our $48 all we got was water and electric, no sewer. They do have a free dump on site. It was very peaceful and quiet but more geared for spending a few days to enjoy the park and the waterfront.
