The day began grey, dreary and spitting with rain. George had some how persuaded me in the last 12 hours to join him on the mammoth bike ride. Becky and Oscar came home just as we were putting our washing on. We needed to do two washes and two dries. As we hadn't washed for a while and couldn't do in the hotel in New York...they charged per sock!!! Anyway, we got it all done and hung up and off to bed we went!
