... br> He played in the water and tried to make friends with a little wet dog, but I think he scared the poor thing. It was one of the few small dogs that didn’t bark at him, though. He was most interested in the water, though. He really enjoyed himself.

getting out stuff together, we hiked across Davidson River on the
bridge and turned right on FSR 5046. It was just a ...

Year 2, Day 113 - Today Nick and I visited the town of Henderson, NC. This town sits among the Blue Ridge Mountains at 2,200 feet above sea level. It is a picturesque and quaint town with lots of diversity. I understand that as far back as 100 years ago, people favored this area for retirement (instead of Florida), because it offered all 4 seasons, along with temperate winters.

A special shout-out and a big "thank you" to ...

... hadn’t yet seen. Online Elon had a better “feel” to me than Wake Forest and as it was so close, the decision was made.

Elon is a beautifully manicured campus with vast grassy areas and newer-ish brick buildings with huge white columns. Some of those buildings house state of the art media studios, science equipment, etc. There are several variations of living situations for the students and most of the ...
