The last four hours of which -- you know, the mountain part -- were in pouring rain and the last 15 miles -- you know, to the inn part -- were in pouring rain and pitch black darkness on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I literally kissed the ground when I got out of the car. Then drank the better half of a bottle of Gewurztraminer with dinner.

    ... As expected, there were old worn warehouses which artists had occupied and set up shop.  They left the commercialism behind and focused on the art.  It was wonderful to see them at work!     ... and smells we experienced since Ann has covered that well, and it was really a fantastic experience.
