    I celebrated my birthday while here as well, and Paul surprised me with tickets to see the musical, Wicked, which will be our final Seattle hurrah before we board our flight to Sydney tomorrow. The show opens this weekend in a theatre just around the block from our hotel. And yes, I see the irony that it's been playing in the West End for years...

    ... that I had to tell the cashier that I couldn't pay or the stuff, I couldn't go to Chihuly either because there is an admittance fee. And the worst part? I was only 10 minutes away. So at that point I had been walking around in the hot sun ALL day and I was super annoyed, so I was NOT going to walk back to the hostel. I called an uber.

    ... cruisers rather than be stuck at an assigned table with people who just aren't fun to be with. On one cruise we were seated with the henpecked husband and the complaining, self-absorbed, domineering wife. Talk about an unpleasant dining experience!     We arrive at the hotel in stellar weather, drenched in sweat we unload and find parking for the bikes in a garage around the block. Only about 100 yards away we have to go about 6 blocks due to the one way roads.
