... room with some Italian soap on a giant TV that was installed in the early 90's and a lady changing baby nappies on the seat in front of us.... This is going to be a long short night - disembarking at 4.30am. Temperature update Hot hot hot, and now we are all burnt burnt burnt! Owen maned to even out his singlet mark on his back thought after around and hour snorkelling - however his chest is still pasty white so now resembles a NZ native Wood ...

We arrived at Brindisi at around 8.30 after a bit if a hot night on the boat. The ferry was OK but the AC in the cabin was poor, though a man said it could have been changed; maybe.... The cabin itself was good and the crossing smooth but it was bit a short hot night. Getting off the boat was also slow, not helped but unbelievably stupid lot who managed to have an accident on the boat deck due to impatience.... ...

... very imaginative of the Italians). It is perched on the top of a hill overlooking the sea. Here we wandered at leisure around the small streets and I bought an unusual ceramic elephant to add to my collection.

Group dinner tonight in Alberobello. When it came to ordering coffee, I ordered a café latte. The waitress tried to tell me I actually wanted a cappuccino, I reiterated a 'café latte'. She didn't seem very happy about this and ...
