Howdy folks! Guess its time we updated y'all on whats being happening down here in the sunny south. Well the truth be told, not a heck of a lot, we have settled into a normal routine here in the RV park and just kind of live somewhat normal --- in the sun!

We have been continuing our Geocaching and there are a large number of caches around here and it takes us to some really beautiful places that we normally would not even know ...

... in the desert! Can you imagine, you're walking around all kinds of cactus, short and tall, the rocks are everywhere, something we would never have thought we'd do. What a great experience. Before we left for Phoenix we searched online for a place to camp, but had a hard time finding one that would accept kids (many only allow 55 and older) in the area we were looking to stay. The week before, I was reading a blog about a family who traveled fulltime and read they had a hard time finding one as well until they found The Deserts Edge RV Park and really liked it. It was further away than we were hoping to stay, but again once ...

Unexpected

South Mountain park was surprising. I expected a lush mountain park like what we saw in Virginia. I didn't know a mountain could be so bare. Icarus..., Icarus dear friend, like you, we got too close to the sun. We burned our wings. After climbing the Mountain of dirt, we came back down ending up on Central Avenue. Like a moth attracted to the light, we followed Central Avenue to the tall structures on the horizon. We went around the ...
