Howdy folks! Guess its time we updated y'all on whats being happening down here in the sunny south. Well the truth be told, not a heck of a lot, we have settled into a normal routine here in the RV park and just kind of live somewhat normal --- in the sun!
We have been continuing our Geocaching and there are a large number of caches around here and it takes us to some really beautiful places that we normally would not even know ...
... in the desert! Can you imagine, you're walking around all kinds of cactus, short and tall, the rocks are everywhere, something we would never have thought we'd do. What a great experience. Gotta take the grandchildren there when they visit. Went to a crazy Christmas Sweater party that was held by the pool. In general, very boring! Oh well, at least it was hot and the beer was cold. It's the final preparation day before vacation begins. We've got the house all cleaned and the keys turned over to our wonderful friends Doc & Michelle who will enjoy a staycation here at the casa while we're gone. This is the beginning of our 6 weeks of travel for our 50th Anniversary.
We started early from Surprise, AZ, went to Kingman, AZ, Las Vegas, NV, Mesquite, NM, Provo, UT, Salt Lake City and arrived in Park City, UT. A total of 636 miles in about 11 1/2 hours. We had a great travel day with no problems. It was a busy day, so not many pictures. Will get more in Park City, UT.
Stay Tuned will be adding lots of photos.
