Howdy folks! Guess its time we updated y'all on whats being happening down here in the sunny south. Well the truth be told, not a heck of a lot, we have settled into a normal routine here in the RV park and just kind of live somewhat normal --- in the sun!
We have been continuing our Geocaching and there are a large number of caches around here and it takes us to some really beautiful places that we normally would not even know ...
... in the desert! Can you imagine, you're walking around all kinds of cactus, short and tall, the rocks are everywhere, something we would never have thought we'd do. What a great experience. Gotta take the grandchildren there when they visit. Went to a crazy Christmas Sweater party that was held by the pool. In general, very boring! Oh well, at least it was hot and the beer was cold. ... zwar ein Ticken wärmer sein können in der Behausung, letztendlich schlug sich mein Schlafequipment bei wenigen Grad über Null aber ganz gut. Über die Scenic Road durch den Nationalpark ging es am nächsten Tag dann zurück auf den Highway. Die Landschaft ist ganz schön und auf jeden Fall eine gute Alternative zum Highway, wenn man Richtung Norden fährt – Zwar nicht atemberaubend, aber ein schöner Auftakt für die Amerikareise.

... at rattler while checking out the stone wall enclosure at the top of the mountain. She was probably a foot-and-a-half away from it when it rattled. I was outside of this enclosure so I didn't see it. All I saw was Karen running out of the enclosure with an arched back. I posted the picture of the prayer area on the top of Tortugas mountain. And back to Camelback mountain we did hike the entire mountain. It took us about 1-1/2 hours to climb ...
