Canadian Art Collection & an Oil Change

By good fortune, certainly not good planning, I had camped within half an hour from my destination which was the McMichael Canadian Art Collection. I have no training in art appreciation and don’t often do this kind of thing but being a proud Canadian, I thought I should check this out. I got there way too early - you never know about the traffic when you get to a place like Toronto - so Minnie and I had a long walk around one of the ...

Having spent most of our summer travelling with Grant as the pilot it becomes apparent very quickly that I am essentially spoiled by the experience of flying in and out of much smaller airports which means virtually no wait time, no lining up, no hauling the bags around, FREE cookies and running into the likes of Sir Paul McCartney!! Spending a few hours in Pearson give me a full appreciation of how good I've got ...

It's in the Cotswolds, a very beautiful area of England which I had never visited before. We had lovely sparking wine, to ...

... a proper baseball one. We played 2 games and were there till nearly 10pm. Ryan got home 4 times over the 2 games and I got home just the once. It was pretty fun playing with all sorts of people and it was meant to be a social grade but they play al these stupid rules that make it a little OTT but we still had fun and it was nice to see Grant again. After the game the boys all had a quick beer and said there goodbyes, then we were on our way to the nearest Walmart to call it a ...

Had a great time with Ashwanti. She took us to the CBD and CN tower which has spectacular views of Toronto and Lake Ontario. Went to the Skypod level which is the highest observation level (447m). Located 33 storeys above the lookout. The glass floor panelled elevators takes only 58 seconds to reach the top. The CN Tower has a glass floor with amazing views of the city down below. Lightning strikes the CN tower an average of ...
