... I could easily find the train station and we could check times for Pompeii and for our trip to Naples/Rome on Thursday. After two wrong turns and eventually having to admit defeat and turn round twice I found the station on the third attempt. Jim and Ruth joined Julianne, Ian and ourselves for dinner at the Patio Grill tonight and plans have been made to have dinner at Restaurant 2 with them on the last night.

Need to get to bed since the captain is going to spend hour around Stromboli at 5am tomorrow morning so we can catch the volcano’s eruption. It apparently erupts every 20 minutes or so and against the dawn sky should be spectacular.
