... a dozen large carp in there! But that goes down well when you're stoned! Well, I don't think I was - but sorry to say Sacha, your eyes were getting quite a glazed look!
We then walked around the red district to do some touristy gawking! Yes, there were lines of tourists just walking past (and in and through and around) some brothels. I thought it was a bit demeaning so after my first geek, Sacha then walked me half way home. Bed at 0030hrs - ha payback!

After a much needed sleep on Octavians couch we headed into Dam Square to participate in the free walking tour. The tour took us through the famous red light district as well as past all of the beautiful canals. Although the rain held off for us for the three hour walk the cloud cover restricted the sun from warming our skin and we were very cold. Amsterdam is full of people and tourists, the cold weather doesn't seem to be deterring them!

We have done heaps of walking around, the red light district (never seen anything like that before!), canals, eating cheese, ducking into a cosy bar when required - drinking my weight in hot chocolate!

... a crazy house. The set up of his rooms is amazing - he really surrounded himself with his art. Pieces are hanging from the walls in various points of completion, his bed linen is in primary colours, all things possibly geometric are decidedly so. All this could have only skewed his perspective on things even more, creating the last of his works in this place.
