    To the beach

    ... 20 metres into the sea and still stand without any problem.
    So we stayed there for a while, took some dives in the nice water and enjoyed the relaxed life.
    After that we went back to our home and further on to visit Noto (the other street) and found a very nice restaurant. Lots of locals, lots of different dishes from what we used to have and a nice atmosphere.
    With that our journey in Noto is over, tomorrow we leave for the north eastern part...

    Discovering the area

    ... of the park and we had to walk to the complete other side. From there we explored the park: the teatro Greco and ancient greek theatre that is now used for re-enactments of the old plays, the area where the stones were excavated by the slaves, the ear of Dyonisis, and so on. A number of places that were brought together in the park some of which were very nice, others very cool given the shade in the area.

    ... It would not finish, so we tried different other programs, to get to the end, but even when it reached an end point it wouldn't open. So we tried and tried and tried and finally around noon time we were successful. Cloths back !

    The park historical sites were well worth seeing but by the end of our visit to the park, we were weary of the blood thirsty practices of ancient times and made our way back to the ticketing office where we found good clean toilets and bought a well wanted drink.

    It is worth noting that the toilets in Sicily are particularly clean, made all the more so by having paid cleaners on ...

    ... and that we should have a substantial lunch. We set about to find an interesting place. Today, the place found us. We’re walking along checking out places and Barry keeps saying, let’s keep going. We’ve stopped to read the menu on a large board when a man in his 60’s with sincerity explains his daily special and we understand enough Italian at this point to get that it’s a small place and that they will cook for us. So ...
