        ... view of the Cinque Terre towns and the ocean. It was beautiful. They had some great little shops and lots of yummy food. We ate gelato which was DELICIOUS. After Cinque Terre we made our way to Florence. We went to a church that was built in the year 1021! How old does that make it? Florence is famous for its artists and I think we saw at least one piece of art work from each ninja turtle ...

        ... Chianti. Then he noticed the beer on a shelf and was very disappointed. So he left me to finish the wine and ordered a beer to have with dessert. The waiter was a little confused. "You want it now?" The meal was nice. We shared ricotta with honey and pepper for dessert. It tasted like a sheep ricotta. It was nice, different.....unusual. The waiter brought us a limoncello with the bill.
        The food is great in Florence. I'm sure I've gained a few kilos.

        ... telling us to take the 2nd or 3rd exit at roundabouts that were not there. As I was the navigator, I was getting mildly annoyed. )

        Completely off track, I'm sitting at our outdoor setting overlooking the rolling Tuscan Hills and the local church bells just rang (something that becomes familiar quickly and sometimes they even play a tune, which sounds tacky but is quite nice).

        When we were looking for one of the less easy to shop for (yes, you Mr Design Guy) we happened upon this large shop of leather jackets and coats. The guy tried to coax us in, but we said we didn’t want jackets or coats. As we walked away he offered us 100% off!
